Prosecutor v. Pinochet is the landmark 1998 case where Spanish prosecutors sought to extradite Chile’s former dictator Augusto Pinochet from the UK to stand trial for crimes against humanity, torture and disappearances committed during his 1973–1990 military rule, establishing that former heads of state do not automatically enjoy immunity for serious international human-rights crimes.

Hi, I am Jaiin (Jay), a junior in DAIS. This will be my third year in MUN and it will truly be a honor to take the role as ICC Judge. To be honest, MUN should be more than just an activity that you do for college application. This is a place full of passion and enthusiasm for you to discover. By the way, this is my first time participating as a chair (Judge), and I’ll be looking forward you all to participate. See ya!

Hi there! I'm Yusen Zhang, a graduated student of DAIS and currently working in motorsport industry, I feel so proud to be able to be back for the chair of the ICC committee. I spent all my three years of the MUN journey in this committee and this will be my fourth and last year here.
ICC has always been the toughest yet the most rewarding committee I have ever seen, you always learn something new each time you put effort into this committee, you’ll meet some of the best delegates out there and learn from each other, and of course, I’ll also learn from each one of you guys.
In this committee, we debate on evidence, logic and testimonies. Therefore, it is important to be well prepared all around it before the trial happens, feel free to ask questions ! I’ll see you guys on court !
