President
Haoxuan Xiao
Hi there, I am Haoxuan Xiao, your president for the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) in DAISMUN XVI. I have been in 7 conferences across 2 past years and I am esteemed to lead debate on a series of novel challenges technology introduces us to the world. I believe the essence of MUN is the diversity of ideas that enter the free exchange process of debate, and global citizens learn diplomacy and the collaborative process through it. I wish all delegates, whether in their first conference or as an experienced delegate, a fruitful debate.

Deputy President
Artemis Suo
Hello everyone! I’m Artemis Suo, a grade 10 student. I’m deeply honored to serve as the deputy president of the IGF committee. It is my second year in MUN, and I’ve always seen it as far more than a simulation, it’s a space where we turn global challenges into collaborative action. Our committee focuses on navigating the tensions between national digital governance and the borderless internet to build a more secure, equitable, and collaborative online world. Delegates are not just representing countries, but also shaping solutions that bridge divides and protect our shared digital future. Let’s work together to make this committee impactful, inclusive, and unforgettable.
